Configure SSL for Virtual Appliance

To enable SSL for the Virtual Appliance:

1. Set the Hostname.

   note

   Make sure that the VA has a hostname before configuring SSL.

2. Configure the Hostname:

   • Go to Server Configuration.

   • Enter the hostname created in Step 1.

   • Check the Use SSL option and save the settings.

3. Generate the SSL Certificate:

   • The Certificate Wizard opens.

   • Add the required details and save the configuration.

4. Update DNS Entries

   note

   Make sure that the necessary DNS entry is created for the hostname.

5. Open the web interface using https://svm.va.local.
