Alert Menu

This menu provides users with timely notifications. Perform the following steps to view system alerts and updates using the new Alert menu.

To view system alerts and updates:

1. Log in to the Software Vulnerability Manager web interface using valid credentials.

2. At the top-right corner of the SVM interface, click on the Alert icon.

3. The Alert menu displays key information such as:

   • VT Sync details— Displays the last sync details.

   • Latest Build details— Displays notification about newly available build.

   The color of the Alert icon changes based on the VT sync status and build availability:

   VT Sync Status	New Build Available	Alert Icon Color
   VT In Sync	No	Grey
   VT Out of Sync	No	Red
   VT In Sync	Yes	Red
   VT Out of Sync	Yes	Red

4. Click on the required key information.

5. Click OK and agree the confirmation dialog which appears.
